2016 Danville Fall Crafts Festival - October 22 and 23!
We hope to see you at this year's 2016 Danville Fall Crafts Festival that takes place on Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and 23 from 10:00 - 5:00. In its 25th year, the Festival will keep with the season with quality arts and crafts displays and a fabulous glass pumpkin patch. This event is now unofficially being called 'The Faire of 1000 Pumpkins' ! There is music and dance, fabulous food and something fun and wonderful for every member of the family. There may be no better time in downtown Danville than the Fall! Come and find out why. Admission is Free!
Costume Parade. Bring your ballerina or scary monster to the Faz Restaurant parking lot at Hartz Ave and School Streets by 9:45 AM - learn more. When the parade ends, the fun continues with free, safe trick or treating with Hartz Avenue merchants and festival artists. Be sure and enjoy amusements such as pony rides and other surprises. And one of our favorites, the San Ramon Valley Historical Museum will run the children's train ride in the Faz Restaurant Parking Lot.
Art and Artists! The Fall Crafts Festival features 150 outstanding artists from the western United States. Enjoy your favorite returning artists and the work of new artists in the jewelry, glass, ceramic, painting and photography categories. Whether it's a whimsical ceramic bowl, a finely sculpted gold ring, or a captivating photograph, fairgoers will find that special item for keeping or giving away to someone special. Think Holidays!
Music and Dance! Visitors will be treated to the best music and dance in the San Ramon Valley. Vocalists, bands and outstanding dance artists will take the stage and turn up the volume (so to speak!). The Classic Car Show takes place on Sunday, 10:00 to 5:00. East Prospect Avenue comes alive with the Classic Car Show. Over 30 of the coolest cars and hot rods grace the street. Not only do you get to look under the hoods, you get to meet and talk to the owners of these awesome machines!
Eat and Drink! No community event would be complete without food and this year's Fall Festival has a great selection of 'cuisine' opportunities. And, as always, there are many wonderful restaurants located along Hartz Avenue some featuring outdoor dining - perfect for a rest. These restaurants and cafes have been critically acclaimed for their chefs and fine food offerings. Find out why!

Kevin and Barbara Brown, will lead a "Meet the Wine Makers" tasting of their premium varietals in a very special On-The-Street tasting at the beverage booth located on the intersection of Hartz and Prospect Avenues. This tasting will begin at 2pm on Saturday. The couple started their adventure in winemaking back in 1997 with a philosophy of creating beautifully balanced wines with an affordable price tag.
